5-Month Ceramic Pottery Program
The Janbo 5-Month Professional Ceramic Program is an immersive training designed for individuals who want to deeply understand ceramics - from raw materials to finished works and studio practice.
This program moves beyond hobby pottery and introduces students to the complete journey of ceramics:
- Creating clay bodies from raw materials
- Wheel throwing mastery
- Hand building mastery
- Surface decoration and material preparation
- Developing glaze recipes
- Multiple firing techniques
- Mold making and reproduction techniques
- Ceramic tile and mural installations
- Studio production workflow
Participants will gain both technical knowledge and hands-on experience, preparing them to practice ceramics independently or start their own studio.
After completing the program, students will also participate in a 1-month studio internship to gain real production experience.

This program provides complete ceramic training covering both traditional and contemporary practices.

- Optional learning experience at a traditional pottery studio in Kochi
Industry Exposure
Traditional Pottery Experience – Kochi Studio
Students will have the opportunity to visit a traditional pottery studio in Kochi to understand traditional pottery processes and manufacturing practices.
The course training will be facilitated through the Kochi studio, while travel and accommodation costs will be additional.
1-Month Studio Internship
After completing the 5-month program, students will participate in a 1-month internship at The Janbo Studio.
During this internship students will:
- Work within the studio environment
- Assist with ceramic production processes
- Gain practical studio experience
- Understand day-to-day ceramic studio operations
Opportunities Through The Janbo
The Janbo Magazine
Selected students and ceramic works may be featured in The Janbo Magazine, documenting their pottery journey and creations.
The Janbo Living
Qualified ceramic pieces may be curated and sold through The Janbo Living online store, allowing students to experience selling their work.

- Program Fees: Rs.3,25,000 (Includes tax, materials, tools)
